Welcome to Arrow of Eloquence, the Pro-WriMo forum! We are the dreamers of dreams, the creators of worlds and universes that lead others to call us strange or sick (unless we get famous, of course...). We all feel discouraged sometimes, especially when nobody around us seems to understand why we are who we are.
So, we gather online. We build creative communities so we can connect with other people like us. We join these communities and discover that we are not alone. Among our online friends we share our creativity without fear of rejection. We share the things that make us laugh and cry, we help each other through the tough times and stand back in awe when somebody does something extraordinary.
We will never take a member aside and tell them they are too crazy, too ambitious or just plain too weird. We are all crazy, ambitious and weird.
Take me, for example. Prospective author of a million unpublished words. Participant in at least one WriMo every month for 2011. I'm a metal chick, a writing addict and a cat lover. I work in a goat dairy. I treat my characters as if they are almost human. Sometimes I delete that 'almost'. I love sci-fi, fantasy and post-apocalyptic worlds. My favourite authors are Pratchett, Adams, McLean, Cussler and Laymon. My writing companion is Leroy the Rubber Chicken.
My name is Siana Blackwood and I am an insane writer!
Now, introduce yourselves...

My name is Marie, and i love to write novels and Fanfiction, besides Novels Series, since 08' i am a crazy insane writer sometimes when it comes to my characters telling me what they will want to be like in my novels. How they want to talk or act like, or something instead of having them like i want them originally, personally i just treat my characters as persons of me sometimes.
I have inspiration from movies listening to people talk and reading books by my favorite authors. Who are Robin McKinley, Tamora Pierce, P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast, Cheyenne McCray, Christine Warren, J.K. Rowling, C.L. Wilson, Katherine Kennedy, Victoria Alexander, Elizabeth Chandler and many more i cannot name but are pretty good authors from their books to read.
I like Cats, Dogs, and Birds, I love making friends on each wrimo i go to and reaching my goal from each wrimo and watching Disney Movies even if my favorite one is Snow White since i was a little girl.I think it will be nice to meet everyone here who wants to join and be a part of this wrimo and have fun here and love being here too!
Also i used to go to community college but not anymore and now all i do is write and i keep hoping to have one of my works even if it is one of my poems published some day!

Hello! I'm butterflywings. I'm terrible at the intro thing!
In a nutshell? I love to write, everyone around me finds me strange and probably anti-social. Really, I have lots of online friends on so many forums. Writing, reading, and more topics that interest me. How many people can you find offline that really want to talk about writing as much as we do?

How many people can you find offline that really want to talk about writing as much as we do? Sadly, none at all... but at least we have our online friends.

Hello! I'm Rome. I'm what I call a wannabewriter. I just started doing WriMos last year but had heard about it from before. I didn't even realize there was more than NaNoWriMo until well...a month or so ago. I am so horrendous as these introductions. I'm an avid reader and I have been writing, at least stories for myself, since I was 14...yeah, just before grade 8. Realized my issue with writing during NaNoWriMo...I don't write as much as I think I do and I'm trying to change that before editing. I'm about to do JulNo 2011 but I plan to continue doing WriMos on a more regular basis afterwards. This is so long winded. I'm just ending it now.

Hi, Rome. Good luck with JulNo - as the second-biggest WriMo of the year it's a good place to start. It's always easiest to do something like this when you're surrounded by a big community of like-minded people .

Hello I'm Jane, and I'm 19 (20 this November). I'm an international, studying in Melbourne at the moment, and I'm from Indonesia. So yep, English isn't my first language, but I'm writing in it anyway This year I only plan on doing some wrimos, not as many as previous year. I did Screnzy this year and neglected my script in the middle of the month, and now that I have winter break I'm doing my third JulNo I'm also going to do AugNo and NaNo this year, hoping I'll be able to win NaNo since last year I didn't. November is usually my exam month I won't aim SeptNo and GothNo this year since I need to concentrate more on uni duh, uni life ruins my writing routine. Anyway, nice to meet you all here, crazy wrimo-ers

Well I met Jezzy, Siana, and Marie during WRIDANOJU 2011, which was my first successful wrimo to date but I'm at the end of July now and then I'll be heading into August.
I'm a university student with not so much time on her hands during the school year but I'd really like to complete several wrimo's during the academic year so here's to groups of awesome people to kick my butt!!
^__^ I'm really bad at introductions so I'll just say that I love anything artistic and I have a small army of penguins at my command, currently stationed in my room. Seriously. Ask and you shall receive.
Happy Scribbling!

I was in danger of an epic 'read everything and post nothing' trip through a whole bunch of writing forums (fora?)...
Hello Wrampage! Great to see you here! Looking forward to hearing more from the army of penguins and I hope you have an awesome rest of July and August!

Hi everyone! I've made my way over here from the SeptNo forums. I am Sarona. I am female and 18 years old. I like writing a whole lot, but even more so I like gathering up new experiences to write about. I have yet to win any sort of WriMo event, but that sure doesn't keep me from trying.

Hi Everyone, I am Wolfyone, lured into the world of writing when my daughter Wrampage started waving pages in my face and raving on about word counts back in June. I'm now the proud veteran of a win at Camp Nanowrimo in July, a fail in August at 36K, (but that book since finished), and well into Gothno at present. I've finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up and should just about make it there by retirement age. I've been bit by the bug. It's a writer's life. And yes, the non writers out there just don't get it. They think we're nuts when we say our character did this amazing unexpected thing. "What?" they say, "You're the one writing it." How can you explain? So I am happy to be here among people who DO understand the insanity that is writing.
