A chat thread for Ink-Slingers who do any of the fourth quarter WriMos. A little more focused then the general chat thread but still pretty much free for anything you feel the need to say (within reason, of course).

I like this chat thread as for what i plan for Gothno will be two new novels one being a Gothic dark fantasy. And the other one a Gothic Lit novel which i have notes and snippets of both of them.
As for SciFiWriMo i am finishing my scifi novels from last year besides writing new ones that are post apocalyptic. Or somewhat different but still scifi like Alien/human relationships besides robot/human relationships between each other. With an antagonists in each of them as much as writing more and more of my novels.
As for Nano i will be working on the first book to the trilogy i have on there besides GLBTQ novels, and a fantasy novel. Along with a YA teen drama angst novel, and an Adult novel from either historical times or modern times with magic or something else.
So i will be busy with each wrimo, and that's what i am planning. I am just talking about what i am doing for what i am doing for the three wrimos.

Hmm... October is SciFi for me, because Gothic novels are not something I really do. I've got a project for that sorted out already (one of the ones I wanted to finish in August, then wanted to finish in September and still haven't done...). I really have no idea what I'm going to write during NaNo yet, though, and I need a project for December.
So... at this point I plan to have a plan.

It's October first for me now ^^ That means vampires and spacecraft. W00T~!
NaNo is kind of up in the air for me and December is a complete free space right now. No idea what I'm going to do. I was thinking of following along with the ISaDG (International Story a Day Group) but I'm not sure how well I'd do with that.
I'm stuck between 'Until the Day I Die' and 'Feral State' for NaNo. 'Feral State' has a little more of an outline to it but UtDID has been on my schedule for a few months. So, coin flip?

Along with more then one scifi novel including three new ones i am working on for SciFi too. So i will be busy all this month with hoping to reach and win my words in both wrimos.

I think I can actually work today. W00T~ This is really awesome because the little snippet I posted on the GothNo forums was really all I had done yesterday ^^;
Scifi I'm not really worried about. I can step into that world pretty easily.
How's everyone else doing?

I am hoping to catch up with my writing to be at higher words in my Scifi ones as much as my two Gothic ones as well for both wrimos.

I hope to catch up on both my novels for Gothno and my scifi novels for Scifi to win by beating my word counts for both of them today. Hopefully with writing more words to be in higher words in my novels for both wrimos.

First GothNo pep talk email went out today (sighed by Yours Truly (e.i. me)). Little too happy about that but that will fade off quickly, I'm sure. Not sure if I want to keep doing them or let her find someone else for the others. Advice?
I also changed my NaNo project to something I feel I can actually get finished (at least finished word-count wise). It's an interesting story, I think... until I get sick of it halfway through the month. (Kidding ^^ Kind of joking but not really.) No, I'm starting to think of all this as fun now instead of stressing so much. I think it's better for me in the long run.
(All right, I had a dream that one of my favourite doctor characters told me I was over-stressed and a variety of other things and that I needed to calm down or I'd wind up sick. Then I told him he at least had a pleasant voice for delivering bad news. And he got all embarrassed. Which is a little odd considering he's actually gay. It was a fun dream ^^)
But really I do need to stop being so stressed. And maybe stop going back and forth between feeling important and feeling worthless. That is not good for a baseline feeling.
Okay, I'm going to go either work or eat because my head hurts right now... *runs away*

Writing should always be fun, but this year-round speed writing thing does seem to suck a lot of the fun out of it. Must be time I thought of something other than just writing heaps more as a strategy for making it more fun, I guess.

I agree with you too Siana that writing should always be fun. Since i continue to want to write each novel to try and finish writing each chapter with hoping to finish writing each novel some day.

I've noticed I'm wanting to write much more often than I used to. Like, I'm stressed about GothNo but I'm already looking forward to NaNo. It's just the weirdest thing.
I also really need to do something on SciFi (although really, since I'm planning NaNo and that's scifi... can I count that? No? Probably not.)

I really loved your line "I plan to have a plan."It made me laugh and it seemed to hit the nail on the head too. When you have so many projects going on or on the back burner of your mind, it gets too crazy sometimes to sort it all out. So planning to have a plan sounds really realistic!
