Every year, there is an intense competition called Three Day Novel. It is as the name suggests: a three day long challenge in which you are meant to compose an entire novel, including the editing, to be submitted and judged by a panel for prizes. One of the prizes is publication... Which is pretty sweet. However, they do charge an entry fee for it, which a lot of us WriMos can't afford, so WriYe is running an unofficial one amongst the WriMo community. The rules are pretty simple: 1. You may not have written a single word on the novel before 12:00:01 on 01 September. 2. Your draft must be complete. Beginning, middle, end, and at least a basic edit. 3. The draft must be a minimum of 25,000 Words. 4. Not a single word may be written / edited after 11:59:59 on 03 September. Sign-ups are now open on the WriYe forum here: wriye.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=challenges&action=display&thread=1851
