It's probably about the point in the year when those who take Pro-WriMo to extremes of addiction are starting to look at the next challenge - SeptNoWriMo.
The details
The site: septno.tk/ or better yet september-wrimo.proboards.com/index.cgi (because that one is mine
The challenge: Both versions of SeptNo have three kinds of goal - writing only, editing only or a combination of writing and editing. You set your own word count goal and/or editing goal and the main focus of the month is to tie up all those loose ends from the summer WriMos. According to the rules, the following things are not countable towards your goal - Planning/Outlining, Role playing, Co-authored works, Poetry/Lyrics, and Scripts/Screenplays. However, WIPs and multitasking are encouraged. Oh, and fun is compulsory. Seriously - it's in the rules.
So who's going to be participating in SeptNoWriMo this year?

My SeptNo username: SianaBlackwood
My goals for the month: Finish writing Crystals and Moonlight and do at least a decent chunk of How to Nuke Your Enemies. Probably somewhere around 70-80k between the two, I guess. I also want to make a reasonable amount of progress on rewriting Broken Mirror, although I'm tossing up whether to make that a word count or hours goal. I might also revisit The Frozen Tear, my '10 NaNo, and do a bit of editing to see about using The Seven Keys (a substantially expanded version of about the first 1/3 of FT) as my '11 NaNo.
How much of this I think I'll get done: definitely C+M and I'd really like to have most of H2NYE done. The other stuff is probably wishful thinking.
