Steve The WriMo Forum is a new forum that combines the hang-outiness of Arrow of Eloquence and NaNoPlotMo with the WriMo-tastic world of the forum-hopping circuit.
Something like that, anyway.
It goes like this: NaNoPlotMo, Arrow of Eloquence, FebNoWriMo, MarNoWriMo, NaMayWriMo and SeptNoWriMo are all run by the same people. This means we're trying to carry conversations over multiple months and multiple forums, archive and set up forums while trying to win the previous month's event, and all the other little admin jobs that should take seconds and really take days...
Then someone had a blinding flash of realisation. If we set up a single forum for all these events and include a 'hangout' section, we can consolidate our forums into one brilliant, easy-to-maintain package.
We named that package Steve. The personification potential is almost limitless.
Anyway, things that happen on Steve The WriMo Forum:
February, March, May, September: a full wrimo.
January, April, July, November: hangout and chatter about other events.
June, August, October, December: depending on demand, either hangout or a full wrimo.
Every month: hang out, talk about writing, talk about fandoms, work on planning or editing (or other writing-related stuff)
Sadly, that means after almost three years of ... well, mostly inactivity... your one remaining admin is going to stop trying to give this site the 'kick of life' and will now be concentrating on Steve.
So, if you're looking for somewhere to talk about writing, real life and everything in between, head on over to Steve The WriMo Forum.
