Write a novel in 2 days! Is it possible? I have no idea, but this is a chance for all of us to find out. This weekend, it's time to give a brand-new idea 48 hours of glory and see what comes of it!
Rules:
1) Ideally, you will start from scratch with a brand-new idea. No previously written prose can be included.
2) Under the Necromancy Clause, you can choose to revive an old WIP or random snippet and add 15k to it. However, only brand-new words can be counted - nothing added/altered in the existing material goes towards your wordcount. NO rewriting can be counted. No, not even if you retype it from scratch.
3) No rebels. If you'd prefer an insane weekend of working on your current major project, set another challenge in a new thread. There's room on the Challenges board for both.
4) I know I said 'novel', but the minimum wordcount is a little less insane - you have to sign up for at least 15,000 words.
5) You must be the sole author.
6) You have 48 hours - 0:00 on the 27th to 24:00 on the 28th of July (the second-last weekend of the month, because we need a gap between this challenge and the start of Camp NaNo).
Not a rule, but recommended: Drop whatever else you're working on for the two days. Think of this as a 'holiday' from your other projects.
Also not a rule, but recommended: Write actual prose rather than just repeating the same word 15,000 times.
