The 48-hour Novel Challenge Write a novel in 2 days! Is it possible? I have no idea, but this is a chance for all of us to find out. This weekend, it's time to give a brand-new idea 48 hours of glory and see what comes of it! Rules: 1) Start from scratch. No previously written prose can be included. 2) No rewriting, not even if you completely retype it. There's one very small exception - if your original idea comes in the form of a scene or scenes, you can retype that as part of your novel. 3) I know I said 'novel', but the minimum wordcount is a little less insane - you have to sign up for at least 15,000 words. 4) You must be the sole author. 5) You have 48 hours - 0:00 on the 26th to 24:00 on the 27th. Not a rule, but recommended: Drop whatever else you're working on for the two days. Think of this as a 'holiday' from your other projects. Also not a rule, but recommended: Write actual prose rather than just repeating the same word 15,000 times. Sign-ups:00,000 / 15,000 -- Siana Blackwood
