According to the list, January presents us with the following events:

JanNoWriMo - writing challenge: 50k or your own goal
HistNoWriMo (Historic Novel Writing Month) - writing challenge (goal TBA)
FantNoWriMo - write a fantasy novel (your own goal)

It's also the kick-off for year-round challenges:

WriYe - choose your own writing goal for the whole year
Milwordy - write a million words in 12 months

... and the WIP-from-Hell challenge on this site. Big, exciting things are happening in January.

I'm doing JanNo, FantNo, and MilWordy. Goal: 83,334 words. Novel: A Doctor Who fanfic (current WIP).

I really haven't decided what I am doing for the 2013 WIP-from-Hell challenge yet. Having epicly failed this year's challenge (never even worked on it), I am determined though to get one of my 2012 WIPs finished by the end of next year.

I am doing JanNo, FantNo, and HistNo, while also doing Milwordy and WriYe in January.

I have failed the WIP- From -Hell Challenge this year but i plan on also working on my 2012 WIPS for next year in 2013 too.

I'll be over at FantNo and kicking off WriYe next month, so that'll be a trip.
