We all know how this works. However, there is one more step. Look to the right, and you will see a random number generator. Put in the absolute maximum that you can write on Thursday, August 23rd, and it will give you a number. That is how many words you have to write. You may change your goal until 11:59 PM on Wednesday.
500 or Less
501 - 1000
0 / 1,241 -- Agent Double Oh Zero
1001 - 5000
5001 or More

My first attempt left me with 138. Second shot was 8. I began to think the universe was trying to tell me something about Thursday and decided to settle for my third (also low) number.  |
