So, who's gearing up for an epic session of Camp awesomeness? in keeping with national tradition I thought I might celebrate the season by incinerating a couple of steaks and cooking sausages on bush sticks. Er... while shooing away flies. No, not the flies. It's freezing cold and winter where I live, which means there's a small chance of snow. Snow is awesome. All right, I'm really going to make a blanket tent on my blue couch and live on coffee and biscuits while typing insane numbers of words. So, who else is going to be doing Camp NaNo? Do you have plans for how much you're going to write and how camping-themed your month is going to be? Better yet, do you have awesome suggestions for writer treats? Camp NaNo User Name: Agent Double Oh Zero and bobo_the_bard (Yes, I have two accounts.) Personal Word Count Goal: At least 50k, hopefully 100k if the books for both accounts work out. Your Camping-Themed Plans: Make a tent in my bedroom and write in it. Awesome Suggestions for Writer Treats: Coke. Definitely Coke. Um...the soda, I mean. Chocolate chip cookies. Lemonade. Peanut butter on crackers. Cheese and crackers. Apples. Don't know how many of these I'll get (aside from apples) this June, though. I'll be out of the country for most of the month. Camp NaNo username: JezzyHatesJazzPersonal wordcount goal: Official Camp goal of 50k Your camping-themed plans: Take walks into town for supplies and maybe go out to the beach then come back and write (maybe in a small blanket-tent). Awesome suggestions for writer treats: Um... Tiger's Milk Bars. Berry lemonade with a little mint and cinnamon. Apples. Clif Bars. Title: Nova Chrome Synopsis (stolen from the profile) : "There are places in this world that are unstable... It's just our job to look after them."
In an underground network of protection agencies, Nova Chrome is unquestionably the leader. Lead by the fearless and fatally-flawed Alistair Blanchet (codename: Arcade LeCroix), Nova Chrome acts as a shield between humanity and the unknown, containing the dimensional-jumpers and Eldritch Abominations that manage to get through the net.
When a Class Red location shows signs of going active, Nova Chrome goes on high-alert. If their net slips, there's no way to stop the chain reaction.
The apocalypse is on the horizon.

I just realised how much better this thread would have worked if I'd included 'Novel title' and 'brief synopsis' sections in the form. Oops. Feel free to copy/paste from your Camper profile or just provide a link to it. Um... -- Novel title: Doom Brief synopsis: Weaving Doom from Darkness, Despair and Desolation. That's going to be my sig as soon as I get around to making a sparkly graphic of it, but as well as using the four titles of my Seeker series it also sets the mood nicely. Slightly better synopsis: Doom

Oh yes, that might have helped. :-)
I had a detailed plan of all novels I'm going to write in June, July, August, but as usual, nothing ever went as planned. I was previously going to write two novels during the month of June and August, but decided to cut it down to one each. I'm currently being nibbled to death by plot bunnies, so even though I do have novel synopses up there, does might not end up being what I write.
I'm just going to play it by ear each month. For June, I have 4 novel ideas. However, I'm only going to pick what I'm going to write at 11:59 PM on May 31st. In the meantime, my plot bunnies are having a cage fight for who will win. *Sits back with a bag of popcorn and watches*
Contenders for June: Dark Arcana Book 1 - Steam punk fantasy, like Star Wars, but…Not. Höllebergen - Time traveling vampires and concentration camps! Much war, blood, death, and destruction! The Gathering Book 1 - Science Fantasy - Fairies in space! The Fires of Ozan Season 1 - Avatar The Last Airbender fanfiction turned into original fiction.
I just realized that I can write a synopsis for any of these, because I have no idea what any of these stories are actually about.
