I borrowed this from WriDaNoju!
I am wondering what everyone's procrastination methods are do you play games, read a book, watch movies or tv, or do you procrastinate on your writing by doing something else that has your interest or addiction too!
If you do please tell us your procrastination methods and how they work good for you!

Forum games! Also, for some reason lately I seem to be addicted to cooking shows.

Forums in general. Writing chitchat - I get interesting links from twitter Twitter! (not Facebook!) When I am really procrastinating- laundry, dishes, catching up on sleep, going out for a drive.... Other useless things

My procrastination methods is, reading books, watching movies or TV, or browsing the forums and talking to everyone besides doing challenges and forum games instead of writing.

Forum games are addictive sometimes Hmm... must start some of those. Anyone got any suggestions? (Or just go ahead and start a thread for your favourite game

I found a new one - I Write Like... iwl.me/It analyses writing styles and compares them with famous authors.

I check all my messages on deviantArt. If I really want to procrastinate I just keep refreshing the page. Since I watch several million people there's always new stuff to look at and comment on. Theoretically I could avoid doing anything else until I was old enough to retire. Then I go get more coffee.

Hey Jezzy, I just checked out your "I Write Like" link. I pasted a couple of paragraphs from my Gothno Piece and guess what? They said I write like H.P. Lovecraft! How cool is that? Especially for a Gothno project! iwl.me/s/147eabd8

That is so awesome! I love Lovecraft! I hadn't tried it with GothNo (at least not recently) so I tried it with the last excerpt I posted and while it's not quite Lovecraft, I did get Arthur Conan Doyle. iwl.me/b/f2fcfd6cI love Sherlock Holmes! (Over the times I've done it with different pieces it's said Arthur Conan Doyle, William Gibson, Gertrude Stein, James Joyce, Chuck Palahniuk and Cory Doctorow. Cory has come up twice. I'm feeling pretty cool.)

Awesome isn't it when you get that kind of feedback. Makes you feel like "YES! I AM a writer!" Anyway, thanks for that link. It was a great little ego massage!

I put a couple of different stories into that and apparently I write like Chuck Palahniuk (who I've never heard of) and Stephen King.

That's awesome SaronaNalia! It's such fun to be compared to writers who have succeeded in making a name for themselves!
