The Blogging ChallengeIn 2011 I barely made any use of my blog. Random blogging doesn't count towards WriYe totals, so when I was scrambling for words at the end of the day/week/month my blog was the last thing on my mind. I've decided to change that for 2012, though. Why not join me? Commit to 1, 2, or more blog posts per week for the year 2012. At the end of the year I'll make some kind of awesome web badge or something for everyone who meets their goal. Sign up and chart your progress below. Sign ups: (Name - total/goal - URL to blog/blogs) 1 blog post per week (52 posts):2 blog posts per week (104 posts):Siana Blackwood - 0 / 104 - Siana Blackwood's Writing Blog3 or more blog posts per week (at least 156 posts):-- Extra noteTo have a text link instead of just the URL, do this (remove spaces on either side of the [ and ]): [ url=http://sb.siasan.com ]Siana Blackwood's Writing Blog[ /url ]

It might be too late to sign up for this, but I would still like to. If I sign up for the 2 posts a week and do a quick race to catch up, will it still count? I've recently started a blog for my weird text-things and would love to have some more motivation to keep it going.

The Blogging ChallengeBlogging challenge? Oops, I forgot all about this. At least my poor malnourished blog is getting some use out of the WriYe blogging circle. Anyway, so that the challenge is friendly to latecomers I'll add the following rule: If you're starting the challenge after January 1st, work out how many weeks are left in the year and make your total goal only apply to what's left of the year. E.g. if you sign up at the end of February you would only count March to December, which is somewhere around 43 weeks and therefore 43, 86 or 129 posts. Sign up and chart your progress below. Sign ups: (Name - total/goal - URL to blog/blogs) 1 blog post per week (52 posts if you started on January 1st):2 blog posts per week (104 posts if you started on January 1st):marielaurent2223 - 0 /104 - mylifethoughtsaboutmyselfSiana Blackwood - 5 / 104 - Siana Blackwood's Writing Blog3 or more blog posts per week (at least 156 posts if you started on January 1st):-- So the answer to Jedisagefish's question is yes, you can join any time and no, you don't have to catch up on anything. Your challenge runs from the day you start to the 31st of December. (I, on the other hand, really do need to do some catching up. I also should make myself a tally of some kind so I know where I need to be.)
