Hey all, I'll be doing NaNo too. I'm wolfyone there as well. Did I read it right? AofE has a thread on the NaNo site? I'd better go look.

I'm actually reading 'Plot Bunny Fields Forever' in preparation for this. I am insane. :/

Plot Bunny Fields Forever? there is such a thing? I am really glad I'm doing Gothno. It keeps me distracted from worrying about NaNo. And although I will shoot for the 50K I will probably go over, at least I will try to. 50K is usually not enough for me to feel like the story is done.

There is such a thing. And such a thing is here. Writers are even imaginative with their imaginations (I want a Plot Bunny field guide... and an Imaginary Imagery Telescope.) GothNo and SciFiWriMo have been the only things keeping me from panicking over NaNo already. Of course, I'm panicking over them now but that's beside the point. At least I have vampires. And aliens. Though not in the same book.

Jezzy, thanks so much for the link to Plot Bunny Fields Forever. It was so funny and so true. Lots of good stuff in there and presented in an entertaining way. So vampires and aliens. Maybe for NaNo you should do them together. Like the movie Cowboys and Aliens? That was so corny, cliched and at the same time I couldn't stop smiling. Who says we have to stick with one genre in the same book? Ok I know I'm nuts, I'm only on my first cup of coffee. Most of the brain cells aren't firing yet.

You're not nuts (well, you are but you're the good kind of nuts ) I'm actually thinking of doing 'Vampires vs. Aliens' pretty soon. I want to get through NaNo this year before I think too much about that though. I have enough trouble with the country-wide war threatening to break out in my planned NaNo project to worry about something interplanetary.

OK then, I'll be waiting to hear all about that interplanetary project once you finish NaNo. You can put that plot bunny into day care at my place if you like. I'll remind you about it later!

I may have to take you up that daycare offer, wolfyone... In case anyone was thinking of looking through the 'Adopt a Title' thread on NaNo - don't. It's a plot bunny breeding ground. 0.o

I agree with Jezzy, the adopt a title thread should be avoided. I was looking through it to try to find a title for my NaNo, and I ended up with 2 page list of titles I now want to create stories for.

Thanks for the head's up. I will avoid that since my own plot bunnies are multiplying madly. Two books now that I thought were one off's have turned out to be series waiting to be written. So I have plenty to keep me writing into the next year with just the bunnies for those two. I will have to start looking into birth control.

I finally have a plot 'bunny' and I totally wish I could draw so I could show everyone what he looks like. He's about 10 feet tall including the horns and he eats people!
(Okay, technically he's a character/monster in the story, but he's all I've got in the way of a plot, so...)
