^ Windows. > There was a big spider in my kitchen yesterday, and it was gone when I brought the vaccum to kill it. Now I'm too afraid to go make food. v Do you think spiders are scary?

^ Usually yes, but I alternate between being scared of them and being fascinated by them. > My main couple in this novel have their own playlist on my computer. They also make my heart hurt in the best of ways. v What was the most interesting nonfiction book you've ever read?

^ That's just as hard as picking the best fiction book I've ever read. Right now I have part of an old encyclopaedia set, a book on gardening and a stack of books listing goat registrations since some time in the 1970s. There's my book of baby names (totally necessary for naming random characters), several books on goat care, a biology textbook...
> Isn't "What's your favourite book?" kind of like "Which lungful of air did you like best today?".
v A slight variation on the question: what's your favourite non-fiction subject to read about at the moment?

^ Does mythology count as nonfiction? I love reading about mythology. If that doesn't count, then I'm not sure. A few of the most recent things I've enjoyed reading about are forensic medicine, American government, and medieval castles.
> I actually learned more reading about American government on my own than I did in the whole semester-long class I had to take on it last year.
v Do you do research for your novel before you write, while writing, or after you're done?

^I research for my novel while i write. Though sometimes i do it before i write to find out what i need to use in it.
>I take time researching to make sure everything is correct but also have things in my novel that is fictional and part of the imagination.
v Which do you prefer typing or writing by hand?

^ Typing, because I can write so much faster that way and I can backspace instead of crossing out. > Random fun smiley that looks better on a light background. v How are you going with Camp?

^I am going great with Camp. Though i am a bit behind on the word count i hope to catch up.
>I am at least in some higher words though i want to be between 18k through 20k into my novel for Camp.
v How far are you in your Camp novel?

^ I made it to 29k and then had to stop because of tendonitis. I'd like to get it to 30k by the end of the month.
> I'm experimenting with left-hand mousing at the moment. Now I don't know where to put my right hand when I'm not typing.
v Are you doing JulNoWriMo?

^Yes, i am doing JulNoWriMo. I cannot wait for it to start after this month is over.
>Though i still need to catch on writing my novel for Camp soon.

^ I haven't tried every genre, not even close, but I imagine I wouldn't like writing horror. I have a hard time being scary.
> I'm trying to decide if I should do JulNoWriMo. It starts in like an hour, so I'd better decide fast!
v Did you reach your writing goals for June?

^ I try not to read Fanfics which is a distraction for me.
> Of course if you like Fanfiction that is a distraction but i hope to stop reading Fanfics soon.

^ To actually write something every day.
> I spend way too much time fiddling with my Excel writing log.
v You probably have favorite genres or styles. What's the least "you" thing you've ever written?

^ I don't know. Looking back over my stuff - finished and unfinished - I think I've been in my cozy little fantasy/sci-fi corner for a while now. I've tried to write mainstream romance a couple of times, though. That wasn't pretty.
> I'm freezing and it's raining inside. Northern hemisphere people, I will have my revenge during your winter. *evillaugh*
v AugNo and Camp NaNo - one, both or neither?
