It's summer here. I wonder if I can send some of the warmth and sunlight your way...

I thought I'd drop in and check out the competition (Coffee Shop competition that is). *looks around, takes notes while pretending to study the prices on the menu*
Hey, Siana. I could use some of that warmth. It's pretty chilly where I am.
I was adding the NaNo and WriMo links to my sites, and was wondering if AoE would like to be added to either the Year Round or the Year Long section.

Luckily, it's not too cold outside right now, but it is Florida, so heh. I *have* coffee. Why am I not awake?

It's supposed to get to 31 by the weekend, so anyone who wants warmth is welcome to take it. They're not predicting any wind, either. This will be 'sit in a corner with an icy drink and try not to die' weekend. Worse yet, too hot for coffee unless I make some milk ice cubes.
Apparently 31 degrees celsius 87 in fahrenheit. [/random]
And Amy, I guess AofE fits in the year-long category. We're sort of a support group for the pro-wrimo community, so we aim to have something going on all year round.
I always feel like I should have a better sales pitch.

Here's a good sales pitch:
"We're a support group for the pro-wrimo community....WITH A 1000 ELEPHANTS!!!"
/facepalm/ Bit of a Terry Pratchett reference there, sorry, couldn't help it. XD
Yeah, it's sweltering here too. My aunt came to visit us, and, of course, she packed nice warm long-sleeved sweatsuits and pajamas.
For Florida.
XD Can't blame her. This winter has been unusually warm. In fact, it's so hot that I even forgot it was winter, and typed summer.
Multiple times.
I remember when winter used to be chilly...I am not making this up! Ten years ago it was colder!

Here's a good sales pitch: "We're a support group for the pro-wrimo community....WITH A 1000 ELEPHANTS!!!" ...and a rubber chicken named Leroy.

Yes! Who can resist a rubber chicken and a 1000 ELEPHANTS!!!? XD Sign me up! Except I'm already signed up, damn... =)
I wonder why this place is so quiet?

*reaches for coffee and drinks half the cup before realising how hot it is*
Amazing how hard it is to wake up when you forget to take an allergy pill before bed.
Oh, right, the question. I wish I knew how to make loads of people want to hang around here. Everything seems to be quiet this year, though. Hmm... maybe what we need is a bolt of lightning.

A bolt of literary lightning? Muse?
*pause*
Apparently muses can only wreak havoc inside our own heads. =( No stroke of Muse-induced lightning over the internet, then. =P
That sucks. =P Allergies are hell.
Yeah, it's been crazy quiet on all the forums. It's like everyone just gave up in 2012.

Virtual coffee . I got my first real coffee of the day a very short time ago. If I don't finish it in the next two minutes I'll be drinking a day-old cup of coffee. (it's 11:58 pm as I post)

That will be the subject of my next song. If I could sing or play an instrument I'd make a writing-related album for next FAWM. Also, you know how it was over 30 the other day? Well, tonight it's 9. The weather here rocks .

That's awesome. It's like Florida weather...rain, sweltering, freezing. Rinse and reuse.
I wish I knew how to play the guitar. I'd totally make a youtube series of NaNo-themed songs as "pep talks." xD FAWM...excellent idea!
Yeaaaah, that shall be my goal for next February!

That's awesome. It's like Florida weather...rain, sweltering, freezing. Rinse and reuse. But without the sweltering and with not enough of the rain. That 30? We get a couple of weeks in January and a couple of weeks in February when it's "too hot" and apart from that it goes between mild and cold. Why am I turning this into a weather thread?

Lol, there is no weather on the internet! So now we know that once humanity leaves behind corporeal bodies and sends its minds into an ultra-huge galactic virtual reality net, none of our robot overlords will be meteorologists. =P
